I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to Poland in September 2020 and have been working at Myślnik ever since. After finishing high school, I went on to obtain a National Diploma in Graphic Design at the University of Technology in Cape Town and worked as a graphic designer for over ten years.
In 2019, I decided that I wanted to pursue my love for language and working with children in the form of a TEFL course, which I did through i-To-i. I have received a GA L3 general certificate and a GA L3 Business English certificate, as well as completing a TKT/CELTA-styled hybrid internship program with English Wizards, specializing in YL education.
I am an extremely passionate, dedicated and hard-working individual. I hope to inspire the same passion that I have for language in my students. I believe that language is one of our greatest tools and brings people together. From body language, the words we use, the way in which we construct sentences and how we say things, can all greatly impact how our thoughts are perceived and can lead to either very clear and concise understanding or disastrous misunderstandings. I continuously strive to grow and develop so that I am able to pass my knowledge on to my students and can add more value to the world around me.
